Research

My research lies at the intersection of theoretical linguistics, bilingual language acquisition, and experimental linguistics. I investigate how age, input, and language experience shape grammatical development across the lifespan, with particular emphasis on bilingual and heritage speakers of Turkish.

Drawing on experimental and quantitative methods, my work examines morphology, syntax, and semantics in multilingual populations, contributing to broader theories of language acquisition, language change, and bilingual grammars.
